We got a letter from our attorney the other day telling us that a summons had been sent to the Sheriff's Department and that we needed to take Henry there to have him "served." It seemed a bit odd and we didn't know exactly what all that meant, but we took Henry to the Sheriff's Department to be "served". Turns out it is just a bunch of papers that they had to give Henry (Brent accepted them on Henry's behalf). Too bad cookies and punch weren't "served". Ha Ha 
This is just one more step on our quest to officially adopt Henry and make him a United States citizen. I wonder what's next...
I did tell Henry that I expected this to be the only time he ever had to visit the Sheriff's Department. :)
